• Landlords (KYC Verification): To ensure authenticity, we collect copies of National IDs and perform Face Verification (biometric imaging).

To provide construction and real estate services, we collect:

• Identity Data: Full names, government-issued IDs (for property transfers), and signatures.
• Contact Data: Phone numbers, email addresses, and physical site addresses for construction.
• Financial Data: Bank details or mobile money info for large-scale project payments.
• Technical Data: GPS coordinates of construction sites and photos of project progress.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use the collected data strictly for:

• Verification: Confirming that landlords are who they say they are to prevent fraud, verifying property ownership, and processing titles.
• Communication: Connecting tenants with verified property owners.
• App Functionality: Managing your account and listings via Firebase.
• Operations: Coordinating with our surveyors and construction teams to reach your site, sending you project milestone updates, and providing quality assurance reports.
• Legal: Complying with legal and tax obligations regarding real estate transactions.

3. Third-Party Sharing

We do not sell your data. However, we may share necessary info with:

• Government Authorities: For land registration and building permits.
• Financial Institutions: To verify payments for house sales.

4. Data Security & Retention

• Security: We use high-level encryption for all property documents to prevent unauthorized access.
• Retention: We keep construction project records for the duration of your warranty period (5 years) to ensure we can fulfill our service guarantees if an issue arises later.

Key elements handled with full responsibility include site privacy (GPS coordinates for surveyors) and document protection (Identity Data for house sales and Titles).

5. Data Disclosure & Government Requests

We value your privacy, but we operate under the laws of the Republic of Uganda.

• Legal Compliance: We will disclose personal data to the Government of Uganda or law enforcement agencies only when presented with a valid legal request, court order, or as required to comply with the Data Protection and Privacy Act (2019).
• No Third-Party Sales: We do not sell or rent your personal data to advertisers or third parties.

6. Data Security

Your data is stored using Google Firebase and protected with industry-standard encryption. We take the security of landlord National IDs and biometric data very seriously to prevent unauthorized access.
